Hello, I'm having an issue with error code 0x5a34 popping up at 4% when upgrading the firmware on my LG G7 with lgup. I found on a different forum that "you'd need to look for a different firmware, the error indicates that OP.img within the firmware is larger than the OP partition on the device". The original box for the phone had TIM written on it so I assumed that was the region I had to download for so I downloaded the newest file for that region - G710EM30d_00_0915.kdz.

If having the wrong firmware file is actually the issue which one should I download? And if that is not the issue do you have any other solutions? Thank you.

EDIT:

Tried the solution found here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lg-g7-fix-error-0x2000-lgup.3846563/

managed to get to 75% with this, but now getting 0x2000 error

Also tried Uppercut, but it fails at 4% saying that dll does not match

Perhaps my current firmware was flashed before I bought it and the region does not match the imei? My current version according to LGUP is - G710EM10b

Eventually solved it by using the dll in the link above and using the "refurbish" setting in stead of the "upgrade" setting in LGUP. This will factory reset your phone and delete all of your data so if anyone reads this in the future and tries to do the same be sure to back everything up.

From what I could figure out the issue was that my software version did not belong to any region (it was named "v10b-222-01" in phone settings) so it could not be upgraded and needed to be completely reinstalled.
