LG G7 Think-q: Re-flashing same versione of FW , is possible?

Question

Hello friends,

The fingerprint reader no longer works in my phone. I don't know if it's a HW or SW problem and someone advised me to reinstall the FW.

I have the latest version of the firmware already installed in the phone and LG UP does not let me install the same version.

Anyone have any idea how to get around this?

I would not want to run the "factory reset" command to not lose everything.

The suggested method works but does "refurbish" and not "update"
with loss, therefore, of data.

Unfortunately it didn't fix my fingerprint not working problem.
