Lg g7 g710u update issue

Hi,

I bought an "unlocked" LG g7 with model number G710ULM running on Android 8.0. I tired to update it to Android 9 to no avail. I tried OTA, and even LG Bridge, later I found out it was a Sprint version cross flashed with an unlocked US version.

Please i want to know if i can update it to Android 9 by flashing the KDZ file with G710ULM Using LG UP? And I hope there won't be a problem doing that.

Also if I can do that do I need to unlock bootloader?

I really need an answer please.

You definitely can. I have the G710ULM too and I updated it using LG UP and the latest KDZ
