Ah sorry to bother you again.
Do you have any tutorial or youtube on doing this connecting with eMMC adapter? Thanks

  • 08/21/2017 23:22:50 ermanardie says : Log in to Reply

    I see that.
    Thank you for the insight.

eMMC adapter is a hardware adapter. You connect your eMMC IC from phone to this adapter and write default dump or firmware (many tools support unpack and write kdz format) in your eMMC. In this phone model Jtag is disabled and you can't restore with Jtag.

Do you mean I need to take the eMMC IC from the v10 board and fix it using tool named eMMC adapter?

  • 08/21/2017 23:06:44 lgfirmwares says : Log in to Reply

If you can't enter in download mode only one way : solder wires to eMMC IC and repair with eMMC adapter.

It's not asking password, but I've try it and it stays on the LG logo for a few seconds, then the display is dark and then showing the LG logo again, it's keep doing this just like bootloop. But if I press the power on only, it stays on the LG logo. Do you think I should do the test point reset?

  • 08/21/2017 22:21:44 lgfirmwares says : Log in to Reply

    Phone now ask password?
If yes turn off phone, press and hold Vol - button and Power On button. When you see LG logo unpress and press again Power On button (Vol - need hold in this time).

  • 08/21/2017 21:02:01 lgfirmwares says : Log in to Reply

99% you downgrade. How version in phone before flashing and how version you flash?

  • 08/21/2017 20:58:25 ermanardie says : Log in to Reply

Probably I need to add, LGup is also always displaying "unknown" on the model now. So I can't flash any other kdz on it.

  • 08/21/2017 20:56:15 lgfirmwares says : Log in to Reply

Unknown this if we don't know how Android version inside.
If you receive pass in logo after flashing you need make hard reset for fix this.

What are these "Unknow" version? I accidentally flash my vs990 with one of these and can't get pass the logo display. And when doing the test point to flash it with QFIL, it's returning error. Before this, I flash it with QFIL smoothly. Probably it's better to not displaying these "Unknow" ?

Currently we not receive Nougat for this model.
