LG V40 Model LGABCD Region ABC duplicated IMEI

Question

I have recently bought an imported LG V40 thinq LM-V405EBW running software V20a-LAO-YT.   IMEI check shows my model : LGABCD and Region : ABC.   I browsed through the forum and have found that there are several other owners bearing the same model with identical IMEI.   We all have the same issue having no idea what country version of firmware to do our upgrade.  Any guru have any hints ?   Many thanks
